Just Cooking provides teenagers, aged 13-19, an opportunity to learn how to cook while introducing introductory food justice concepts. They will practice their culinary skills by cooking dinner to our Late Night participants and in return receive a $100 stipend upon satisfactory completion of the course. Individuals can only complete the course once. Each course will last the first four weeks of a given month and will occur either on Fridays or Saturdays depending on which course the participant signs up for. The program, which encompasses a series of 12 courses, will run from January through June 2020 on Fridays at High Point Community Center from 7-10PM or Saturdays at South Park Community Center from 7-10PM.
